A night of late, late goals in the Premier League.

See you all tomorrow for SEVEN more matches...

Crystal Palace 2-1 Watford

"The manager made the right changes at the right time," says a smiling James McArthur after he and Bakary Sako came off the bench to score late goals for Palace.

Huddersfield 1-3 Chelsea

Huddersfield midfielder Jonathan Hogg had to come off at half-time as he had a migraine and couldn't see the ball!

That is what you call a problem.

John: At the weekend, Zeegelaar committed a yellow card offence and got a red. Today, van Arnholt commits a red card offence and gets a yellow. No justice. Palace deserved nothing from that game.

Uszy2k17: Looking at The performances of Burnley. They could finish as high as 7th and get a place in Europa League and I think they will do a better job in Europe than Everton did this season

Andrew Neill: Can we just appoint Sean Dyche England manager now?

Daniel Woodley: If the Manager of the Season award was given today Sean Dyche would win it at a canter! What a job he has done for Burnley. From the Championship to the Premier League top FOUR!

Leicester 'blew the roof off dreams'

Burnley 1-0 Stoke City

Burnley

Burnley manager Sean Dyche speaking to BBC Radio 5 live: "It's a run of results and a start which the fans are enjoying and rightly so. Football is about realities but also about dreams. It's a tough task for us winning games at this level but Leicester blew the roof off dreams in football - there's no bold statement from me on that. Tonight was a different style of getting a result. It was an ugly game at times in harsh conditions.

"We found a way to win and a real fine goal. Sometimes that's football. We're not the real deal, we're a side that are improving. We've got an aligned thinking here, there's no superstars, no favourites from me. I believe in all of them. We've got a group of people - there's a belief in everything we do here."

(can they get a European place) "I think there's enough people saying good things. I keep reality because this division will eat you alive. We're having a real go at what we can achieve this season. I'm not being negative. I'm a realist, there's a lot of challenges coming our way. The fans and the town have got to enjoy these times, why wouldn't you?

"A lot of psychology goes into some of our planning. I want the players to know that they can grow here, develop as players and get results. We are moving forward each season."

'Red cards are a problem'

Crystal Palace 2-1 Chelsea

Watford

Watford manager Marco Silva: "One more time. It is hard to believe but if you want to fight in football and take the points you deserve you have to play for 95 minutes. We did everything well until 90 minutes, I didn't see one shot from our opponent until then.

"We were leading but 1-0 is not enough. We had chances to kill the match and you have to do that. One minute before the red card Crystal Palace should be down to 10 men, it is clear.

"The officials must have courage. The crowd here is fantastic but you must have courage.

"We need to learn fast. We need to kill and then keep our focus. Red cards are a problem for us."

'We still have a mountain to climb'

Crystal Palace 2-1 Watford

Crystal Palace

Crystal Palace manager Roy Hodgson, speaking to BBC Sport: "We got a late winner against Stoke as well and had disappointment on Saturday, so we've gone through the full range of emotions. We've done well in the late stages of games, so I've got to commend the players' attitude and determination to keep going even when things don't look like they're going our way.

"The goals we're scoring are often well-worked and Wilfried Zaha is often the man behind them, so we're delighted with his contribution.

"It is a huge three points. Where we are in the table every three points is unbelievably worked for. The moment we think our problems are over is the moment our problems will begin. We have a mountain to climb and it's wonderful to win but we're still very close to the bottom of the table because we haven't quite made up from getting zero points from the first seven games.

"It is stressful but if I didn't think I was able to take that stress then I wouldn't have taken up the offer to come and work at this club. The daily work with the players is as enjoyable as anything I've done in my career."

Crystal Palace

Roy Hodgson

More from Roy Hodgson: "We've got an awful long way to go but we are making a fist of it. I am really pleased with how hard the players are trying even when things aren't going our way.

"When you win a game in the last minute it says a lot for the players' character and it's great for the fans. They go home as happy as we are."

Burnley 'didn't deserve to win'

Burnley 1-0 Stoke City

Stoke City

Stoke City manager Mark Hughes speaking to the media: "I thought the lads were fantastic and matched everything Burnley threw at us. I thought when we were able to get the ball down, we were the team trying to create openings in wide areas and get good balls in."

(on the goal) "Another long ball goes into our box and it drops fortunately for the lad. It's hard to take, Burnley didn't deserve to win, clearly. I'm pleased with what we produced tonight. We felt the loss of Kurt Zouma. If we'd have kept Ryan and Kurt they'd have dealt with that situation.

"We've got a big game at the weekend now, we need more of the same and maybe a bit of luck. In the end they've got the break that their endeavor and determination deserves I suppose. At the moment the luck is going for them and they were fortunate today. The result isn't what we wanted. We wanted to get a positive result. We need a little bit of fortune to go our way."

'We had the wind in our sails'

Crystal Palace 2-1 Watford

Crystal Palace

Crystal Palace boss Roy Hodgson: "We worked for it, our first half was not very good but we moved the ball better in the second half. The game was stopped so often that we couldn't get a rhythm but we looked like we might score. Once we scored I wasn't surprised we got the second, we had the wind in our sails and the players believed.

"Wilfried Zaha was excellent again."

Ashley Barnes says the “run can continue” so how high can Burnley finish?

Is it time for a change in the Stoke dugout? Mark Hughes' side have won just one in seven.

Why are Chelsea so inconsistent this season?

Huddersfield have lost 8 of their last 11 games.... will they be relegated?

And has Christian Benteke been forgiven?

Surreal evening

Huddersfield 1-3 Chelsea

Simon Stone

BBC Sport at the John Smith's Stadium

So, that Huddersfield consolation brings to an end a rather surreal evening for me.

I arrived at the stadium before kick off but late enough for everyone in the row I was supposed to be in the middle of to have taken their seats.

I didn't want to disturb them, so I watched the game in the press room, where the TV feed has no sound. Nothing can be heard in here from outside either so, apart from doors opening and closing, it has been silent, even though the stadium is full.

I will set off earlier next time.

Joe Gibney: Burnley magnificently, ridiculously, sit in the Champions League 4th spot after another Premier League win tonight. Sean Dyche must be on any shortlist for wanted managers at the moment

'Don't tell me Burnley deserved that'

Burnley 1-0 Stoke

Stoke City

Stoke manager Mark Hughes: "Don't tell me that anyone says Burnley deserved to win that, because they didn't. The lads are devastated, they didn't deserve that.

"We'll be OK, we're fine. We are working hard to try and turn this around but I am encouraged by what I've seen tonight.

"Burnley play on percentages, they hope something will drop for them and they are making a habit of it."

Max O'Collins: Van Aanholt should have been sent off. Game changer. Granted Watford’s defending has been hideous since they went down to 10 men.

GOAL - Crystal Palace 2-1 Watford

James McArthur (90 mins)

My word!

Tom Cleverley was holding it all together for Watford, or so it seems. Again, Palace come to life late on, again it's all thanks to Wilfried Zaha.

No matter how poor his end product can be he never gives up, he never stops showing for the ball. Brilliant from the winger, who skips past Daryl Janmaat and picks out James McArthur about 10 yards out, he steers into the bottom corner.

Palace are out of the bottom three!

Any more drama...?

GOAL - Huddersfield 1-3 Chelsea

Laurent Depoitre (90 mins)

Late goals in every match! It may only be a consolation but that's some header, Huddersfield sub Laurent Depoitre meets a cross from the left with a bullet across goal, past Thibaut Courtois and in.

Fine header.

GOAL - Crystal Palace 1-1 Watford

Bakary Sako (89 mins)

Yes, that red card does open the door for Palace!

Wilfried Zaha dances inside, hits a low shot which Heurelho Gomes can only push out. Sub Bakary Sako gets the rebound, Gomes saves that, but it then hits Sako on the legs and squirms over the line.

How big a goal could that be?!

RED CARD - Tom Cleverley

Crystal Palace 0-1 Watford

Does this open the door for Palace?Tom Cleverley loses the ball on the edge of the Palace area, he's wary of the counter and dives in on Jeff Schlupp, it's clumsy rather than nasty but it's also a second booking and he has to go.
