Keep watching this video until the end. There's a great interview with Jan, who runs Retro Rovers and we have mentioned a few times today.

It brings a tear to my eye.

'Champions' Boys from Nancy sack manager

Win the title last year? Check.

Vote of no confidence this year? Check.

Coach sacked? Check.

Team-mates jumping ship? Check.

No we're not talking about Claudio Ranieri...

Following 6-0, 6-0, 7-0, 8-0 defeats  Boys from Nancy  have sacked their manager.

You might recognise David, the club's captain. He's a star of TV and stage . Think Doctor Who, Silent Witness, W1A.

You might recognise the captain of this team from the TV and stage!

All that's missing from this fab little video is the champers...

Well done to the COWs lads- you deserve to celebrate!

No more Mr Grumpy

Not really living up to your name with this generous tweet!

Great effort guys and there's always next year.

Nice work from our colleague Tom there.

What he has failed to do us send us the previous seven attempts where he slipped, missed and made a right old fool of himself.

How has Dave Scotney and his Boston United walking football teams got on this afternoon?

They're coming into the People's Cup off the back of a first tournament win in Grantham last week, where one of their teams won all six matches.

Have they managed to take that form into their group in Peterborough today? Let us know, Dave!

'Friendships formed and a family born'

This is Jan Milner who runs the fantastic Retro Rovers teams - both of which have reached the Walking Football final in Doncaster today!

She's written a brilliant poem about how the sport has turned her life around, we think you'll enjoy it...

"Football is the people's game"

Mike Bushell went to meet Jan recently to find out more about how she returned to football after health problems seemed to mean the end of her playing days.

It's not all about the winners.

The FA People's Cup wouldn't be the nations biggest five-a-side tournament without teams like yours.

See you next year!

AFC Blackpool Senior Seasiders

Congratulations to AFC Blackpool Senior Seasiders - winners in Blackpool and through to the next stage of the FA People's Cup.

Find out more about how walking football helped their skipper - retired PE and head teacher Steve Hyde - here.

Bad luck, Brett

Woe for Brett G , whose team failed to win a match today.

On reflection, the sausage-heavy breakfast (see 10:40 entry) and subsequent hot-tub (14:05) possibly weren't the best preparation. Still, he's feeling upbeat...

Drew 2, lost 3. Started with the draws and spiralled out if control due to fitness and weight, great day though #PeoplesCup @bbcgetinspired

Evening kick off

An excellent kit for an excellent cause

Now, we've mentioned these guys a couple of times throughout the afternoon, but those of you who saw the Battling Fat Lads action shot (15:38) probably couldn't see their kit in full glory.

Well, here you go!

The lads are raising money for the Oddballs Foundation, a charity that promotes awareness of, and treats, testicular cancer.
