FT: Harlequins 15-21 Worcester

Three Premiership wins in a row for Worcester for the first time since March 2007.

Superb stuff from the West Midlanders.

Harlequins 15-21 Worcester

And that is it!

A knock-on from Quins and Craig Maxwell-Keys blows his full-time whistle.

A massive win for Worcester and surely they're safe from the drop now?

Quins miss the chance to break into the top four on afternoon when they never got going.

Missed penalty (Heathcote)

Harlequins 15-21 Worcester

What do I know? Tom Heathcote misses and the game's still alive.

Quins going for an audacious attempt to run it from their own line for the win.

Harlequins 15-21 Worcester

That's probably going to be it for Quins as they fail to roll away on the floor with Worcester only 15 metres out.

Tom Heathcote with a chance to wrap it up for the Warriors.

Harlequins 15-21 Worcester

Another great response from Worcester who get themselves deep into Quins territory and make sure they eat up the seconds and the phases in the process.

Penalty (Botica)

Harlequins 15-21 Worcester

We're back to six points again in no time at all as Ben Botica takes advantage off the tee as Worcester are penalised for hands in the ruck.

Penalty (Heathcote)

Harlequins 12-21 Worcester

And that could be a massive kick for Worcester.

Only eight minutes left and with Tom Heathcote's third penalty of the afternoon, they're looking well set for a huge away win here.

Harlequins 12-18 Worcester

Penalty to Worcester from a maul infringement by Quins.

Heathcote with a big chance for his side now.

Harlequins 12-18 Worcester

Last 10 minutes of this one.

Can still go either way in the battle for both the top four and survival.

Harlequins 12-18 Worcester

Superb restart from Worcester as Chris Pennell jumps and claims the high kick. He's almost forced a try-scoring chance for the visitors, but Quins force the penalty on their own five-metre line.

Some response from Dean Ryan's side.

Penalty (Botica)

Harlequins 12-18 Worcester

First points of this second half finally on the board and it's Ben Botica's fourth successful penalty of the afternoon.

Quins back in contention.

Harlequins 9-18 Worcester

More sloppiness in the scrum from Worcester and Quins with a penalty and Botica the chance for a shot at goal.

Harlequins 9-18 Worcester

More stalemate stuff here at The Stoop, but Quins force an infringement at the scrum in their own half and Botica boots downfield for a line-out.

Harlequins 9-18 Worcester

Kicking exchange eventually results in an offside against Worcester and a chance for Ben Botica to get a range-finding kick deep into Worcester territory.

But, Quins waste the chance as it's overturned at the line-out on the edge of Worcester's 22.

Harlequins 9-18 Worcester

Still no points in this second half as we approach the final quarter of this contest.

Plenty of sighters for both sides, but no clinicism and composure as yet.

Worcester again let down by their handling when threatened a breakthrough.

Harlequins 9-18 Worcester

Tom Biggs the man to make a big burst into space this time for Worcester, but Charlie Walker is back across just in time to bring him down along the 22.

More scrappiness follows as Quins clear their lines and still can't find some fluency to their play.

55' An action packed few minutes here. Ward with a break down one end, Walker with a try saving tackle down the other. It remains 9-18

Harlequins 9-18 Worcester

Possession changes hands frequently from sloppy mistakes, but neither side really grabbing this second half by the scruff of the neck yet.

Harlequins 9-18 Worcester

Quins do finally turn it over deep inside their 22, but an attempt by Ross Chisholm to burst out of his own half for a counter-attacking try is scuppered by a wayward pass out wide to Henry Cheeseman.

Worcester line-out 30 metres from their opponents' line.

Harlequins 9-18 Worcester

Not really happening at the moment for Harlequins as Worcester eat up plenty of time with patience on the ball and plenty of recycling and territory.

Harlequins 9-18 Worcester

Big gain and run through the Harlequins defence by Worcester's Bryce Heem to the edge of the 22.

Worcester then shift ir right, but knock-on within eight metres of the line. Chance missed for Warriors.

Missed penalty (Botica)

Harlequins 9-18 Worcester

Missed chance for Quins to claw back the nine-point deficit as Ben Botica is off target for the first time today from 40 metres out.

Screws his left-foot effort wide right and then Quins concede a penalty for holding on from the restart.

Harlequins 9-18 Worcester

Decent start from Quins to this second half as Henry Cheeseman gets a decent carry to force a penalty on the 10-metre line for the hosts.

Harlequins 9-18 Worcester

And we're back under way at The Stoop as Ben Botica restarts for Quins.

HT: Harlequins 9-18 Worcester

For Worcester, as well as the chance to climb further away from danger, there's a chance to break a long Premiership drought.

Well, things might not be going their way on the scoreboard at the moment, but Quins will look to extend this lengthy record over their opponents when we resume shortly.

Bath 21-19 Newcastle

Bath beat Newcastle 21-19

The agony and the ecstasy were plain to see at full-time last night as Bath edged out Newcastle 21-19 at The Rec in a pulsating clash to kick-off round 17.

Fly-half Mike Delany came within inches of securing a vital away win for the Falcons only for one drop goal attempt at the death to be charged down and the other go wide of the target.

Two Semesa Rokoduguni tries in the first-half gave Bath a 12-7 lead, but Newcastle did lead 19-15 with 10 minutes remaining, only for Tom Homer to kick two late penalties for a Bath win.

As it stands

HT: Harlequins 9-18 Worcester

Harlequins have ambitions of reaching the top four and the end of season play-offs.

A win today for Conor O'Shea's side would put them back there and above fourth-placed Northampton.

Worcester's plight is somewhat different.

The promoted side know another win this afternoon would almost secure their top flight status for next season with lowly London Irish set to visit them next weekend.

What you missed

HT: Harlequins 9-18 Worcester

Well, while technology was against me, there was a moment of real controversy in that first half.

It lead to Worcester's second try through captain GJ van Velze but it came in bizarre circumstances.

Henry Cheeseman was bursting down the left flank for Quins and looked to have stepped out of touch.

The assistant began to raise his flag, then quickly put it down again when he realised Cheeseman was still in play.

Some players stood still and waited, but not Van Velze who ran onto the loose ball and sprinted for the opposite end and an opportunist try for Worcester.

Harlequins 9-18 Worcester

Ben Botica gets the ball on the edge of his in-goal area after some concerted Worcester pressure.

He puts his left foot through it and out of touch and Craig Maxwell-Keys blows his whistle.

Harlequins 9-18 Worcester

We're back with you. Apologies for the silence.

We'll bring you up to speed on what you've missed at half-time.

Harlequins 6-11 Worcester

Once again, apologies for some technical difficulties we're having this afternoon, including my attempt to bring you the Harlequins line-up going missing somewhere!

Our people are working on it...

Harlequins 6-11 Worcester

Craig Maxwell-Keys stops play 10 metres inside Worcester's half for some foul play and spots a neck roll against their captain James Horwill.

Worcester can clear their lines and then Worcester get sloppy with a fumble off the line-out.

Try (Olivier, missed con Heathcote)

First try of the afternoon following an opening quarter of kicking at posts.

Wynand Olivier is the man who finishes it off for the visitors with a strong run from 15 metres out to the right corner.

Tom Heathcote off target through from the tee.

TRY TIME! AND IT'S THE IN-FORM @Wynand_olivier !!!

TRY TIME! AND IT'S THE IN-FORM @Wynand_olivier !!!

Penalty (Botica)

Harlequins 6-6 Worcester

That was a very short-lived lead for Worcester as our referee for today, Craig Maxwell-Keys, penalises the visitors this time as they fail to roll away on the floor.

Ben Botica also makes it two from two with a well-struck effort from almost 40 metres back.

Penalty (Heathcote)

Harlequins 3-6 Worcester

Two out of two for Tom Heathcote as Harlequins hold on at the ruck from 35 metres out.

Straight down the middle from the Worcester fly-half.

Penalty (Heathcote)

Harlequins 3-3 Worcester

Back level on the scoreboard as Warriors win a penalty at the scrum and Tom Heathcote makes no mistake with his boot from the edge of the Harlequins 22.

Penalty (Botica)

Harlequins 3-0 Worcester

Early penalty slotted over by Quins' fly-half to get the scoreboard off and running.

Harlequins 0-0 Worcester

Apologies for a slight delay on the posts coming through on this page, but we're under way at The Stoop through Ben Botica's boot.
