Johanna Konta has some joy as she drags Karolina Pliskova out the wings.

Konta 7-6 (7-5) 3-6 0-3 *Pliskova

Johanna Konta went through the mill emotionally and physically in that game - saving four break points but finally folding on the fifth with a double fault.

*Konta 7-6 (7-5) 3-6 0-2 Pliskova

Karolina Pliskova has won all four of her previous meetings with Johanna Konta.

Konta 7-6 (7-5) 2-6 0-1 *Pliskova

Johanna Konta looks like a battery bunny who has run low.

Half a yard slower in pace, her chin half an inch closer to her chest and it might be that the exertions of earlier today have caught up with her.

Pliskova with the early advantage in the third set.

Game and second set Pliskova

*Konta 7-6 (7-5) 3-6 Pliskova

*Konta 7-6 (7-5) 2-5 Pliskova

Karolina Pliskova shows no sign of releasing her grip on this second set.

A composed and clinical service game from the Czech and some of the early resolve seems to have ebbed out of Konta.

Game and first set Konta

*Konta 7-6 (7-5) Pliskova
