Crash ends Lorenzo's championship charge

Reigning world champion Jorge Lorenzo is left unable to defend his title following a crash in the warm-up for Sunday's Moto GP race at Phillip Island.
The Yamaha rider reportedly loses the tip of his little finger in the accident which leaves Honda's Casey Stoner needing just a sixth-place finish in his home race to clinch his second world title.
