MotoGP 2012's runners and riders

BBC Sport's Charlie Cox takes a look at the runners and riders in the 2012 MotoGP season, with Honda's Casey Stoner, Yamaha's Jorge Lorenzo and Ducati's Valentino Rossi all having their chances assessed.

The 2012 MotoGP bikes are now 1,000cc, with reigning champion Stoner revealing the riders' arms take more punishment from the heaver machines, and the grid has been boosted by the arrival of eight new Claiming Rule Teams (CRT) taking advantage of new regulations allowing them to enter the championship at a reduced cost.
