Former Swindon rider Leigh Adams improving after crash
Former Swindon Robins captain Leigh Adams has been moved out of intensive care after a motorbike accident in Austrailia last week.
Adams crashed during an off-road race and suffered punctured lungs, broken ribs and damage to his spinal cord.
"He has been moved from intensive care to the spinal care unit at Royal Adelaide Hospital," Swindon co-boss Gary Patchett told BBC Wiltshire.
"He was eating some solids so that sounds very promising."
Patchett confirmed all proceeds from programme sales at Thursday's meeting with Poole will go to Adams and his family.
"We believe this is the best way to allow our fans, and those travelling from Poole, the chance to make a donation in support of a true great," he added.
