Leicester Lions suffered a sixth successive defeat, as they lost 61-33 to Sheffield Tigers in the Premier League on Thursday.

Sergy Darkin was Leicester's most impressive rider with paid 11, although that also included a four-point tactical ride haul.

Former Tigers star Richard Hall could only manage nine points.

Leicester are third from bottom with 11 points from 16 matches, while Sheffield have a one-point lead at the top.

The Lions are next in action on Saturday, 2 July with a home meeting against Edinburgh.
