Alastair Seeley secures Supersport double at Snetterton

Alastair Seeley completed a British Supersport double after winning Sunday's second race at Snetterton.

The Relentless TAS Suzuki rider from Carrickfergus, who won the opener on Saturday, has cut the gap on series leader Ben Wilson to 49 points.

Toomebridge's Michael Laverty had fourth and fifth place finishes in the Superbike races.

Laverty slips to fifth in the standings while Glenn Irwin won the National Superstock 600cc championship race.

Clogher's Keith Farmer, who finished seventh, leads the National Superstock 600cc by 38 points while Irwin is a further seven points back in third.

Ian Lowry was ninth in the second Superbike race after coming 19th in the first while John Laverty was 22nd in the opener but did not compete in the second.

Castlerock's Marty Nutt came 18th in the first Supersport race but failed to finish the second.
