National League leaders Stoke win at King's Lynn

Stoke Potters moved three points clear at the top of the National League with a 49-41 win over King's Lynn.

Stoke number one Simon Lambert continued his excellent form with 16 points for the Potters.

"It was a tremendous performance by all the team," said Stoke manager Malcolm Vasey. "They rode magnificently.

"To take all four points here has sent a message out to everyone in the National League that Stoke are here and we want to win the league title."

The Potters were also helped by solid performances from James Sarjeant [13 points] and Tony Atkin [10].

Stoke face the Dudley Heathens in their next National League meeting on Tuesday, 23 August.
