Speedway: Poole Pirates ease past King's Lynn Stars to final

Poole's Darcy Ward top scored with 18 points

Poole Pirates sealed their place in the Elite League play-off final by finishing off King's Lynn Stars with a 108-75 aggregate win.

As in the first leg, Poole's Australian pair of Chris Holder and Darcy Ward were the Stars' tormenters, scoring 13 and 18 respectively.

Dennis Andersson also chipped in with 12 points at Wimborne Road.

No King's Lynn rider could muster more than six, as the Pirates ran out 63-27 winners on the night.

Poole will go on to face Eastbourne Eagles, who beat Lakeside Hammers 99-86 on aggregate.
