England are currently the number three ranked netball team in the world

Jade Clarke and Pamela Cookey will share captaincy duties on England's January tour to Jamaica.

However, the Caribbean trip comes too soon for Serena Guthrie, who misses out with a wrist injury.

Having defeated Wales and Malawi during December, England will face the 2014 Commonwealth Games bronze medallists in a three-match series beginning on 10 January.

The tour starts England's countdown to August's World Cup in Sydney.

England have finished as World Cup runners-up once, in 1975, and have four third-place finishes with the most recent coming in 2011.

England squad to tour Jamaica: Jade Clarke (co-captain), Pamela Cookey (co-captain), Ama Agbeze, Sara Bayman, Eboni Beckford-Chambers, Sam Cook, Kadeen Corbin, Sasha Corbin, Rachel Dunn, Stacey Francis, Tamsin Greenway, Jo Harten, Laura Malcolm, Geva Mentor.
