Charlie Kielt is set for his first taste of Ulster SFC action

Derry have five Ulster SFC debutants in their line-up for the quarter-final clash with Fermanagh at Celtic Park.

Charlie Kielt, Emmet McGuckin, Danny Devlin, Michael Friel and Cailean Boyle have been handed their first start in the Anglo-Celt Cup.

Oak Leaf captain Barry McGoldrick is named in the team but the Coleraine clubman remains a major doubt with a groin injury.

Derry boss John Brennan will put the defender through a late fitness test.

Centre half-back Kielt and wing half-forward McGuckin are new faces in the Ulster championship but they have played for Derry in the All-Ireland qualifiers.

Friel starts in midfield with Devlin in goals and O'Boyle at centre half-forward.

Injured plagued former Allstar Enda Muldoon is named among the substitutes.

Fermanagh manager John O'Neill will name his team on Friday night.

Derry: D Devlin; M Bateson, K McCloy, D McBride; G O'Kane, C Kielt, B McGoldrick; J Diver, M Friel; M Lynch, C O'Boyle, E McGuckian; SL McGoldrick, E Bradley, C Gilligan.
