Four Fermanagh players have followed former All Star Barry Owens in retiring before the start of the 2015 season.

Tommy McElroy, Mark Murphy, Paul Ward and Eamon Maguire have called time on their inter-county careers.

The loss of McElroy, a 2008 All Star nominee, and Maguire are huge blows to manager Pete McGrath whose side face Antrim in the Ulster SFC next year.

Barry Owens, Fermanagh's two-time All Star fullback, already announced he is stepping down from county football.

McElroy, who played both as an attacking wing-back and at wing-forward, is based in Dublin and has decided he is unable to commit next year.

Maguire has consistently been one of Fermanagh's most potent forwards over the last decade and McGrath has indicated that the door will be left open in the hope the Donagh man reconsiders his decision.
