Jowell defends 2012 Olympic Stadium decision

The former Olympics minister Tessa Jowell tells BBC Radio 5 live's Shelagh Fogarty that the decision to halt the sale of the stadium to West Ham will end the uncertainly that had surrounded the future of the venue.

The board of the Olympic Park Legacy Company (OPLC) has ended negotiations amid concerns over delays caused by the legal dispute with Spurs.

Sports minister Hugh Robertson said the government is committed to securing a legacy from the Olympic Stadium, which it wants to see reopened in 2014.
