Borlée arctic trek
- From the section World Olympic Dreams
An 80 km trek across an Icelandic glacier, climbing to 1,300 m as temperatures drop to -15°C.
This is not the most obvious exercise for top class sprinters who do most of their training on the running track. However, for nine athletes from Belgium this is a chance to impress.
Coach Jacques Borlée will choose which runners make the 4x400m relay team for London 2012 and among the hopefuls are his sons - identical twins Kevin and Jonathan Borlée.
