IOC 'does not love' allegiance switches

International Olympic Committee (IOC) President Jacques Rogge criticises athletes who switch national allegiance for financial reasons.

Speaking to BBC Sport's David Bond Rogge says he supports athletes that swap for what he calls legitimate reasons but has reservations about some of the changes and adds that there is little the IOC can do to prevent the switches.

The debate over so-called 'plastic Brits' was reopened at the World Indoor Athletics championships in Istanbul when UK Athletics performance director Charles Van Commenee selected American born Tiffany Porter to captain the British team.
