Emily Taylor upbeat ahead of UK rowing trials
Lincoln rower Emily Taylor says she is in confident mood ahead of the UK trials which could decide whether she makes Team GB for the Olympics.
Taylor, a former under-23 world gold medallist, races with Olivia Whitlam from Daresbury in the women's pairs.
"We've had a couple of issues but we have really started to settle into the boat now and seem to be improving with every day."
The trials take place on the Olympic course at Eton.
"It's the most important trial of the weekend so I'm starting to feel the pressure," Taylor told BBC Lincolnshire.
"I think you just have to put anything to do with the Olympics to the back of your mind and just pretend that it's like any normal trial."
