Pressure to switch boats - Campbell

Alan Campbell tells James Cracknell he is facing "pressure" from Britain's rowing team bosses to switch from the single sculls to the double sculls.

The 30-year-old from Coleraine won bronze in the single sculls at last year's London Olympics but feels he will need to win a world title between now and the Rio Olympics to justify remaining in the event for the 2016 Games.

The Northern Irishman, expected to contend for a medal in Sunday's World Championship final in Chungju, South Korea, says the pressure on him to change convinced his then coach Bill Barry to step away from the role after London 2012.
