RFL charge trio after Workington-Gateshead fight

Stevens will face two charges from the RFL Disciplinary Committee

Three players have been charged by the Rugby Football League following a fight in Sunday's Championship One match between Workington and Gateshead.

Gateshead full-back Mitchell Stevens, who was also sent off, is charged with a Grade C punching offence and a Grade B offence of foul and abusive language.

Thunder hooker Reece Young is cited with a Grade A punching offence.

Town winger Elliott Miller is charged with a Grade C offence of sustained punching following a match review.

The hearing takes place when the RFL Disciplinary Committee meet at their Red Hall headquarters in Leeds on Tuesday, 21 June.

York City Knights' three-quarter Matt Garside has been issued with a formal caution after he was adjudged to have made dangerous contact with an opponent in the match against Widnes on 12 June.
