Whitehaven have re-signed former Workington Town centre Martyn Wilson for the 2012 Championship One season.

Wilson, 29, joined the Marras on a short-term basis toward the end of last season, following his departure from West Cumbrian rivals Town.

The three-quarter moved to Derwent Park prior to the 2004 campaign, but left to join amateur side Seaton in 2011.

Haven coach Don Gailer has already signed Lee Doran, Luke Issaka and St Helens half-back Ben Karalius for 2012.
