Championship One player of the year Jack Pedley has become the fourth Workington Town player to leave Derwent Park for rivals Barrow Raiders.

The 22-year-old hooker was a team-mate of Raiders boss Darren Holt, and links up with former team-mates Ruairi McGoff, Aaron Low and Scott Kaighan.

"I'm really pleased to have signed Jack," Holt said.

"I saw how much last year he has improved. He's a handful out of dummy half and has speed and distribution."

Pedley was a key part of Workington's run to the Championship One play-offs, but was ruled out of the final against Keighley with a broken ankle.
