Centre Junior Sa'u and prop Carl Forster have agreed new two-year contracts with Salford Red Devils.

New Zealand-born 28-year-old Sa'u has scored four tries in 12 Super League appearances for Salford this season.

Former St Helens forward Forster, 23, has crossed once in eight league outings for the Red Devils in 2015.

"I've been extremely impressed with Junior's commitment to the club. I'm sure he'll be a big part of the future here," said owner Marwan Koukash.

He told the club website: "I know Junior is a big favourite of the fans and I am confident that we're still to see the very best that he has to offer.

"Carl has had a solid season. We know there is more to come from Carl, who is a strong personality on and off the field within his team.

"Having identified his talent, it's no surprise to us that Carl is maturing into a Super League star."
