Liam Sutcliffe: Leeds Rhinos stand-off to miss rest of season
Leeds Rhinos stand-off Liam Sutcliffe will miss the rest of the Super League season after rupturing his anterior cruciate knee ligament.
The 20 year old, who has missed only four games so far this term, suffered the injury in Sunday's win over Hull FC which took Leeds top of the table.
Sutcliffe is due to undergo knee surgery next Thursday.
"It is desperately disappointing for Liam especially given the form he has been in," said coach Brian McDermott.
"He will get the best possible treatment from our medical team and I am sure he will return next season stronger for the experience."
