St Helens prop Mose Masoe will leave the club at the end of the season and move to NRL side St George Illawarra Dragons on a two-year deal.

The 25-year-old Samoa forward moved to Langtree Park last year on a two-year contract from Penrith Panthers.

He has been in every matchday squad for Saints since his debut in March 2014.

"We're sad to be losing Mose as he has been a popular member of the squad and at the hub of a pack," said Saints head coach Keiron Cunningham.

"He is a really good bloke who I know will want to end his Saints career with more winner's medals."

The New Zealand-born prop, who started his career at Sydney Roosters. started last season's Grand Final against Wigan as he helped St Helens clinch their first Super League title since 2006
