Kevin Locke: Wakefield fear Kiwi full-back out for season
Wakefield full-back Kevin Locke could be ruled out for the rest of the Super League season after he had to go off in Sunday's defeat by Castleford.
Locke, 26, was replaced in the first-half of the 58-20 loss, only his third appearance since joining Trinity.
Trinity have signed utility back Lee Smith from rugby union side Newcastle as cover until the end of the season.
"It's not looking good, almost certainly season ending," head coach Brian Smith told BBC Radio Leeds.
"It's serious, sort of chest and upper arm, it's to do with his pectoral and maybe ligaments."
The New Zealand international has struggled with groin and knee injuries since moving to Super League from New Zealand Warriors, and was limited to 13 outings for former club Salford.
