Chris Sandow: Warrington half-back confident of making impact
Warrington half-back Chris Sandow is confident in his ability to make an impact in Super League following his move from the National Rugby League.
The 26-year-old Australian joined Wire after securing a release from his contract with Parramatta Eels.
Sandow, who started his career at South Sydney Rabbitohs, is expected to make his debut at Leeds on Friday.
"That's what type of person I am, I'm really confident in everything I do," he told BBC Radio Merseyside.
"I'm a sore loser with everything, even if it is table tennis or whatever.
"Hopefully I can pick up where I left off back in Sydney - I was leading try-scorer there so hopefully I can bring that here to the Super League."
Sandow has praised the influence of Wire head coach Tony Smith on facilitating his move to the Halliwell Jones Stadium.
"He did phone me personally and it shows what type of person he is - he rang me up to see if I was going alright with stuff with the press back home," he added.
"That shows what type of person he is and what type of coach he is."
