Warrington Wolves have agreed to sign Wigan Warriors forward Jack Hughes on a two-year deal for next season.

Hughes, who has played for the England Knights, came through the youth system at Wigan, with whom he won the Grand Final and Challenge Cup in 2013.

The 23-year-old back-row forward is currently on loan at Super League side Huddersfield Giants.

"He's a terrific young British player and I have a lot of time for Jack," said Wolves head coach Tony Smith.

"He is a potential England representative in the near future and we are hoping to help him on that route to achieve this."

He joins half-back Kurt Gidley and winger Tom Lineham as new signings for next season.
