National League One: Redruth v Blaydon

Redruth RFC

Redruth boss Dave Penberthy has said his players must stay composed in their battle against relegation.

With only two games of the season remaining, the Reds remain one point adrift of National One safety.

Penberthy told BBC Cornwall: "We've got to be as calm and collected as we can going into Saturday's game at home against Blaydon.

"We know the job that we've got to on Saturday do and we'll go into the game with confidence."

Blaydon are also stuck at the wrong end of the National One table in 11th, only four points clear of the drop zone, making Saturday's clash crucial to both sides.

"We've got to take them head on," Penberthy said. "There's no question about that."

Redruth will be boosted by the return of experienced lock Luke Collins, who is fit again after injury.
