New Zealander Collins is leaving Ospreys at the end of the season

Ospreys back-row forward Jerry Collins has been cited following his side's 22-20 Magners League defeat by Munster at the Liberty Stadium on Saturday.

Collins was sent to the sin bin in the closing stages for a high tackle on Felix Jones which allowed Munster to press and eventually earn a late win.

No date has been set for the citing hearing which will decide if his tackle was "dangerous".

Collins is suspended for the Ospreys' match against Aironi on Friday.

The back-rower, who is leaving the region at the end of the season, triggered an automatic one-match ban by picking up his third yellow card of the season in the defeat to Munster.

The Ospreys need to win in Italy and hope other results go their way to secure a place in the play-offs and give Collins another opportunity to play before his two-year stay comes to an end.
