Dragons wing Aled Brew has made five Wales appearances

Newport Gwent Dragons won the two top titles at the the Welsh Rugby Players Association's awards function.

Wing Aled Brew, 24, was named Player of the Year with fellow Wales squad member, number eight Toby Faletau, 20, taking the young player title.

WRPA members - professional players at Wales' four regions of the Dragons, Cardiff Blues, Ospreys and Scarlets - voted for the individual player awards.

Cardiff Blues centre Casey Laulala took the Try of the Year award.

Laulala's memorable score came in their 34-23 win over the Scottish side in the Magners League in September.
