Mieres reflects on Sale comeback

Exeter Chiefs fly-half Ignacio Mieres expects 'a war' when Worcester visit Sandy Park on Saturday.

Mieres, 24, scored a try in the final seconds to seal a 30-23 win over Sale as Exeter came back from 20-0 down in the first half.

"Worcester is going to be a real war next week and we know how important a win for them will be here," he told BBC South West.

"I think it is one of the most important matches of the year."

"It's going to be a very tough game," he added.

And the Argentina international was full of praise for the way Exeter fought back at Edgeley Park to gain a win that saw them jump up to fifth in the Premiership table.

"I was really proud of the guys, the forwards did a really great job, they were exhausted but they kept going.

"We knew we could do it and luckily we did it," he added.
