Remembering Wales v France 1994
- From the section Rugby Union
Scott Quinnell announces himself on the international stage with a memorable solo try for Wales in the Championship win over France in 1994.
The dynamic back-rower poached a line-out ball from 40 yards out, and smashed his way through a succession of flailing French tackles on his way to the try line.
"The biggest thing I remember as a 21-year-old was turning around and being hit by a wall of red. Moony [Rupert Moon] and everyone hit me harder than the French."
