Chris Morgan has retained the captaincy of the Cornish Pirates.

It is the second season that the back-row has been chosen to lead the side.

Canadian international winger Matt Evans has been named vice-captain, alongside prop Paul Andrew.

"As one of the key performance indicators outlined by the management board is to develop leaders within the squad, it is great news that Paul has accepted the opportunity to serve as a vice-captain," said boss Ian Davies.

"Since his return from the Premiership he has certainly taken on a leadership role, so this has now been formalised."
