Newport Gwent Dragons have signed one-cap Wales centre Adam Warren from Scarlets and London Welsh wing Nick Scott.

Warren, 24, made his Scarlets debut in 2011 and played for the national team against the Barbarians in 2012.

"The aim is to get good game time and make a good impression," he said.

Scott, 25, is a former England Under-19 international and played under Dragons boss Lyn Jones at London Welsh.

The Hereford-born back made 34 appearances for the Exiles after being signed by Jones in February 2012.

Scott, a former Bath player, said: "As an outsider looking in, it is clearly a club making progress, with a batch of talented young players."

Warren, who can also play wing, helped Scarlets secure a place in next season's European Champions Cup in his final game for the west Wales region against Treviso in May.

He said: "I'm excited for a new challenge. The Dragons are a developing side with a lot of young players and I am looking forward to training and playing with the boys, whilst adding my experience to the back line.

Jones, who became Dragons director of rugby after leaving Welsh in June 2013, said his side had made "two excellent additions".

He added: "Both have much more to offer after having excellent starts to their careers.

"Nick was excellent for London Welsh when we last worked together and Adam Warren is very keen to add to his international appearance and a fresh team will offer a focus for him."
