Championship side London Welsh have signed centre Thretton Palamo from Saracens and second-row Brendon Snyman from French side Montauban.

South African Snyman, 30, who can also play number eight, moves from the French second tier while Palamo, 26, joins the Exiles on a season-long loan.

USA international Palamo will join up with the squad after the World Cup.

"We're delighted to have secured their services for the forthcoming season," said director of rugby Steve Lewis.

"Brendon is a tough, experienced and powerful South African second row. Fresh from a season in France, he will add a real competitive edge to our forward pack.

"Thretton is an exciting talent and we are grateful to Saracens for releasing him to us."
