Jersey v Bedford
Tom Howe scores one of Jersey's tries against Bedford

Charlie Butterworth's late bonus-point try earned Jersey a hard-fought win over Bedford Blues in front of a crowd of more than 2,000 at St Peter.

The hosts raced into an early lead with Gary Graham, Tom Howe and Nick Haining all scoring before Mike Howard and Dean Adamson replied for the visitors.

By the break Bedford had reduced the gap to just four points, and Adamson's second then levelled at 24-24.
