Exeter will host a leg of the European Sevens Grand Prix for the second time.

The club, which hosted three pool matches at the 2015 Rugby World Cup, staged the British leg of the tournament for the first time in July.

The event will take place at Sandy Park on 9 and 10 July 2016.

"This year's European Sevens event was a great success for everyone involved and we believe the 2016 Series will be even bigger and better," said Exeter chief executive Tony Rowe.
