Wales Under-20s got their Junior World Championship campaign back on track with a narrow win over Georgia in Manchester.
Leon Brown's try, converted by Jarrod Evans, gave Wales an interval lead although Gela Aprasidze's two penalties kept Georgia in touch.
Evans' second half penalty extended the lead.
Aprasidze closed the gap with a third penalty but he missed a late kick that would have secured victory for Georgia.
Wales play their final pool game against holders New Zealand in Salford on Wednesday.
The Junior All Blacks suffered a shock 33-24 defeat to Ireland, who are top of Pool A and favourites to advance to the semi-finals.
Coach Jason Strange had made eight changes to the side which were beaten 26-25 by Ireland in their opening game.
They were forced into a late change after Ospreys wing Keelan Giles was called-up for Wales' tour of New Zealand with Jared Rosser handed a debut.
