Jersey Reds boss Harvey Biljon is not planning on making any more signings before the start of the season.

The Championship club have brought in 14 new players this summer, including former All Black Regan King and ex-Scotland full-back Jack Cuthbert.

"The squad's finalised," Biljon told BBC Radio Jersey.

"There may or may not be signings, but nothing that's planned - it'll be down to injuries and the nature of the beast that is rugby."

With the likes of former Bristol winger George Watkins and ex-Ospreys prop Marc Thomas also joining, Jersey have increased the experience within their squad.

"At the moment we've got a very competitive squad in all positions, so it's going to be exciting to see when the competition starts for places," added Biljon.

"I've been very impressed with the new group and it's been helped by the fact that the players we retained have really welcomed them in. Immediately they've begun to get on really well, so from that perspective I can't be happier with the way the guys have been brought in.

"It's made a real difference out on the training park because they're helping each other, they're getting an understanding of the way we're trying to play and trying to evolve our game."
