Former Worcester Warriors centre Alex Grove has signed for National League One side Birmingham Moseley.

Grove, 28, made 152 appearances in 10 years at Sixways and was Warriors' longest-serving player.

But the Scotland international failed to make Worcester's Premiership side last term and was released.

Grove is the eighth new recruit at Billesley Common as the club continue to rebuild after relegation from the Championship in 2015-16.

"Alex brings with him an impressive level of professionalism when it comes to playing and training," Birmingham Moseley director of rugby Kevin Maggs said.

"I'm sure his presence will raise the bar for the whole squad in terms of effort - clearly he will have a big impact in both the team and the National One league."
