Jack Oulton: Redruth scrum-half impresses new head coach
Redruth boss Steve Larkins says new scrum-half Jack Oulton has impressed him in his short time at the Rec.
The 20 year-old, who is a former Exeter youngster, joined the Reds last month from neighbours Cornish Pirates.
"Jack's very good, he's already proved that in pre-season training, he's looking really sharp," Larkins said.
"He's a quality player, he's got a lot of experience playing for Exeter and Pirates as well, and I'm sure he'll bring that to Redruth."
Redruth have also welcomed back forward Owen Hambly after a year's break, with Larkins impressed at what the flanker has to offer.
"He's another quality player," Larkins told BBC Radio Cornwall.
"He brings something slightly different in the back row, he likes to get the ball in hand and be in open spaces, and he does work really hard.
"He's probably one of the most talented players with ball in hand at the club, so it's good to have him back."
