Luke Jones: Guernsey winger 'not the finished product' says head coach
Guernsey Raiders boss Jordan Reynolds says winger Luke Jones will continue to improve at the National Three club.
The former England youth international and Cornish Pirates back re-joined his home club in the summer and has scored tries in the last two games.
"Luke Jones is definitely not the finished product," Reynolds told BBC Radio Guernsey.
"He knows that and we know that, and he's got that ambition to keep on improving and that's what we want."
Jones, 22, left Guernsey for the academy of Premiership side Leicester Tigers in 2012 and signed a professional deal with Championship club Cornish Pirates a year later.
But his time at the Mennaye was blighted by injury which limited him to one try in 10 appearances.
"He comes in with a good base of knowledge having been away with the Pirates," added Reynolds.
"When guys come back to us from previous clubs we want them to have that kind of drive, we want them to play for Guernsey, we don't want them to come in and feel like they've been forced to come back, and Jonesy's been a shining example of that."
