Steve Cram recalls the moment when he won 800m gold at the 1986 Commonwealth Games in Edinburgh.
The Englishman finished 15 metres clear of Tom McKean and Peter Elliott to set a Games record for the event of one minute 43.22 seconds - but admits that he didn't have a tactical plan for the race.
Cram, now the BBC's chief athletics commentator, remembers the moment for a documentary, 'Boycotts and Broken Dreams' which airs on BBC One Scotland at 22:35 BST on Thursday, 17 July.
