Hearn gets 'lazy' players working
- From the section Snooker
World Snooker chairman Barry Hearn has launched a passionate defence of his running of the sport in the wake of criticism from UK finalist Mark Allen.
The Northern Irishman was referred to the World Professional Billiards and Snooker Association's disciplinary committee for his comments but stands by his claims that the "tradition of the game is going to pot" under Hearn.
Hearn told Radio 5 live Breakfast that he had breathed new life into snooker and got "lazy whatnots out of bed and going to work".
