Tough for GB water polo to compete - Figlioli

Pietro Figlioli, a member of the world champion Italian water polo team that sealed a comfortable win over Great Britain in Manchester on Tuesday, talks to BBC Sport's Matt Slater about the problems facing the sport in the UK.

Figlioli, who has also represented Australia in the pool, says countries which focus on achieving success at swimming often neglect to develop and fund their water polo squads sufficiently.

But Figlioli remains confident Britain will provide excellent competition venues for the sport at the 2012 Olympics Games.
