Aggressive approach helps George Morgan

Bolton's George Morgan believes a more aggressive approach in the third set helped him overcome Romania's Teodor Nicolae Marin in the boys' singles.

The 10th seed, who won 6-4 4-6 6-1, will face Sean Berman of the United States in the second round.

"I returned better in the third set and read the serve a bit more. I was being more aggressive," he told BBC Sport.

"I worked out a few tactics. He's got a better backhand so I started to play more to his forehand."

The 18-year-old says he was almost caught out by the hot weather as temperatures reached around 30 degrees at the All England Club.

"It was one of the hottest days I've played at Wimbledon," he commented.

"I don't feel I prepared myself well enough but I started drinking a bit more. I felt a bit dizzy."
