BBC Sport - Sport Wales: Pounding the streets at the Cardiff Half Marathon

Pounding the streets of Cardiff

About 17,500 runners pounded the streets of the Welsh capital in the annual 13.1-mile Cardiff Half Marathon.

Sport Wales met some of the thousands who took part in the race, won by Kenyan athlete Boniface Kongin.

Cardiff will host the 2016 World Half Marathon Championship, the biggest athletics event to be held in the Welsh capital since the 1958 Empire Games.
