Jamie Donaldson hit a third-round 67 to move into tied ninth place at the BMW PGA Championship at Wentworth.

The Welshman, 39, made six birdies and just one bogey to move to six under par overall, eight shots off joint leaders Byeong Hun An and Francesco Molinari.

Oliver Farr is on three under and Bradley Dredge on three over.

"Better, much better than the first two days, it was nice to take advantage of the better greens in the morning," Donaldson said.

"I putted better today, gave myself a chance of going out there and shooting a low one tomorrow.

"I was a little bit [more aggressive], not crazily but enough to shoot a slightly lower score.

"There's a few tees pushed forward so the course is playing slightly easier today but only a bit, you've still got to hit the shots.

"I hit more of them today and happy with a 67."
