US Open: Welshman Donaldson booed after throwing club
Welshman Jamie Donaldson has been booed by US Open spectators after throwing his club across a fairway in his second round.
Europe's 2014 Ryder Cup hero reacted after being unhappy with his approach at the 12th hole.
The 40-year-old threw his club across the fairway, knocking over his bag. It then fell over as he tried to right it.
Donaldson then hacked a divot out of the fairway and boos could be heard as he strode on to the green.
He completed his first round in 74, four over par and after carding the same score of 74 in his second round on Saturday missed the cut.
